In case you’ve been living under a rock, Windows 10 is now officially out. Old Goat Guide reported yesterday that already “Windows 10 Official Launch Site Is Live”.
Also yesterday, a couple of updates went out well outside the bounds of “Patch Tuesday” to prepare for this update.
Are you ready for this? Will you update? Will you wait?
At very least, this release will finally answer some nagging questions, but most especially in regards to Windows Updates. A lot of this is because, as ComputerWorld puts it, “Microsoft cloaks the details of Windows 10 updates“. Will they be as heavy handed as they have indicated, in particular towards home users? If so, this might indeed be the “last version of Windows”, but not in the way Microsoft intends that phrase.
